Key Responsibilities of a Legal Counsel - 12 Month FTC:

• Offering comprehensive legal guidance to various departments within the organisation, such as Procurement, IT, Marketing, People, Sales, and Operations, with a particular focus on contractual matters
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements while overseeing the legal aspects of diverse business initiatives
• Identifying and evaluating risks, ensuring clear and effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Collaborating across functions on major projects while independently managing smaller or strategic tasks.
• Providing practical advice on contract disputes and interpretation, emphasising commercially sound decision-making rather than solely focusing on legal risk assessment.
• The ideal candidate would be 2+ years PQE with a background within corporate or commercial law, ideal experience would come from a reputable private practice or in-house organisation
• Experience working with high-value contracts and complex matters.
• Ability to deal with a range of large (but not exclusively) contractual projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
