.Northeastern University London invites applications for two Lecturers or Assistant Professors in Engineering. The appointees will teach selected undergraduate courses in the areas of Statics and Thermodynamics . Responsibilities include preparation of course materials, examinations, and evaluation of student performance in the course. Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant Engineering area PhD completed, or near completion (all but dissertation), or equivalent professional experience in relevant Engineering discipline AdvanceHE Fellowship status (FHEA), or equivalent teaching qualification, achieved or expected (desirable) Demonstrates, through evidence, excellent ability to be adaptable, innovative, and inclusive in teaching. Ability to develop excellent educational provision in areas with significant appeal to students with a focus on experiential learning Willingness and capacity to undertake continuous professional development in relation to institutionally strategic themes, including but not limited to technology, data, sustainability, and ethics Flexibility and capacity to teach across a wide range of courses Teaching competency in Engineering to at least Level 6 (i.e., up to final year undergraduate level) Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills, both face-to-face and online Excellent IT skills and evidence of supporting the integration of technologies into learning and teaching Excellent time-management and organisational skillsNortheastern University London (NU London) is a prestigious higher education institution based in the heart of London and is part of Northeastern University's global campus network.
