Lecturer in Real Time Distributed Systems

The Department of Computer Science at the University of York has been a centre of excellence in teaching and research for over fifty years. RoleAs part of our ongoing commitment to this teaching and research excellence, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer who will complement and enhance the research, industrial engagement and teaching strengths of our Real Time Distributed Systems research group. Details of the active research areas of this group can be found here.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed- PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Appropriate academic professional and teaching qualifications or a willingness to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice
- Specific knowledge of Real-Time and Distributed Systems that would enable supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students and research staff
- Demonstrate intellectual distinction with a sustained contribution in Real-Time and Distributed Systems research
