Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Loughborough College.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lessons covering a broad range of engineering skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
  • Support the development of the curriculum, particularly in emerging areas such as vehicle electrification and alternative fuels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the automotive offering and exceed learner and employer expectations.
Qualifications
  • Possess a degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent).
  • Have experience designing and delivering vocational or academic programmes to learners.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent planning, administration, and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a small cross curricular team.
  • Relevant automotive industry experience is essential; a teaching qualification is desirable.
