Lecturer in Fork Lift Maintenance and Repair - Stephenson College

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Forklift Truck Maintenance & Repair to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Stephenson College.

As a Lecturer in Forklift Truck Maintenance and Repair you will inspire Forklift Truck apprentices from across the country by delivering and sharing your industry-leading skills, knowledge, and professional behaviours

Responsibilities of this role include;

  • Produce high quality and challenging learning experiences
  • Deliver engaging training through a blend of classroom teaching and digital learning
  • Develop, adapt and update schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources to meet industry standards and diverse learner needs
  • To undertake tutorial and pastoral roles with apprentices

What we are looking for;

  • Possess or be willing to work towards a teaching and assessing/verifying qualification
  • Significant experience in material handling device maintenance and repair
  • Experience of working with apprentices in a college setting and/or in industry
  • Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge of material handling device technologies

To be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 visa, the role advertised will need to have an educational standard of at least A levels and the salary for the role has to be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area i.e. STEM or if you have a PhD relating to the role.
