Lecturer, Business Information Systems (Teaching only) - Department of Business & Project Management, Faculty of Social Sciences, Northeastern University London, London (Devon House, St Katharine Docks / Portsoken). Fixed term, up to 0.86 FTE starting 1st December 2026. Salary: Lecturer (G7) £42,701-£48,035 pro rata per annum.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver innovative, inclusive teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Business Information Systems.
- Prepare course materials, assessment tasks and learning outcomes aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide professional service to the discipline, contributing to curriculum development, academic committees and learning community activities.
- Support student success through mentoring, academic advising and inclusive teaching practices.
- Engage with research and industry developments in Digital Transformation, AI implementation and related areas, where relevant.
- Participate in faculty development and continuous professional growth activities.
- Postgraduate degree in Business Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent ability to adapt, innovate and promote inclusive learning.
- Teaching competence at Levels 4-7 (undergraduate and/or postgraduate).
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills and experience integrating technology into teaching.
- Effective time management and organisational abilities.
- FHEA status or equivalent - preferred.
- Willingness to undertake continuous professional development in AI, technology, data, sustainability and ethics.
