Lecturer B and Work Based Tutor - Painting and Decorating

Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer B and Work Based Tutor with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Painting and Decorating provision.

This post will consist of 0.8 Lecturer B duties and 0.2 Work Based Tutor duties. This equates to four days as a Lecturer B and 1 day as a Work Based Tutor per week.

Ideally, you will have:

• PGCE/ Cert Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification (or equivalent).
• Assessor's award
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above or equivalent.
• Experience of delivering apprenticeships and/or Study Programmes
• Experience of leading students to the successful completion of their course.

Day-to-day you will have responsibility:

• To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
• To support curriculum management with curriculum and course development.
• To develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
• To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
• To support learners on apprenticeship programmes to successfully develop and evidence skills and competence in their roles.
• To deliver work based tutoring which promotes high levels of learner satisfaction and success.
