An inclusive and supportive mainstream primary school in Croydon is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with Autism (ASD) on a 1:1 basis. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, perfect for someone passionate about SEN and making a meaningful difference in children's lives.

About the Role:

• Providing tailored 1:1 support for a child with autism in a Year 3 class
• Supporting the pupil with both academic and emotional development
• Implementing EHCP strategies and personalised learning plans
• Collaborating with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

You Will Need:

• Experience supporting children with autism (ideally within a primary setting)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• A passion for inclusive education and supporting SEN pupils
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• Reliability and consistency
