As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of learning difficulties, helping them to reach their full potential in a caring and inclusive environment. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure each child receives the best possible support.

• Location: Hornchurch
• Position: Full-time, term-time only
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities - Education and Training

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
• Assist the class teacher in creating engaging, inclusive lessons.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
• Support the wider school community in fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements - Education and Training

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
• A genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be available to work in Hornchurch.
