• You will mainly support learners who struggle to keep up with their school work, facilitating a fun, friendly and safe environment for students to thrive both academically and personally.
• You will provide general classroom support to the class teacher, helping manage behaviour, lesson preparation, keeping the class tidy and listening to students read and practice phonics.
• You should be calm, compassionate, confident, take initiative, and adapt your approach to match the needs of the children.
• Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential; personality is most important.
• Individuals working toward a career in psychology, education or a related field are welcome to apply; this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working with vulnerable children.
