Learning Mentor Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? An Alternative Provision in Plymouth is looking for a Learning Mentor to support pupils with SEMH needs, anxiety, trauma, and moderate learning difficulties.

What you'll do:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in class and the community
• Deliver tailored learning and therapeutic activities
• Promote positive behaviour and resilience
• Help create a safe, nurturing, trauma informed environment

Who we're looking for:

• Patient, empathetic, and flexible
• Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing situations
• Experience with SEMH, trauma, or moderate learning difficulties (desirable)
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Pay: £92-£96 per day

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm
