Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support our SEND students in our Den area. The Den is a dedicated classroom area and suite of rooms designed to support our students with their learning, and a calm space to regulate when needed.

Responsibilities

The role involves developing 1:1 mentoring relationships with students who require academic or emotional support, in accordance with their learning plans or one-page profiles.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a calming and understanding nature and a range of experience working with SEN children and their specific needs.

Hours & Salary

This role is permanent. 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per annum. Grade C SCP 5 - 7 (FTE salary £25,583 - £26,403). Actual salary £19,246.67 - £19,863.58.
