Job Description
Looking for a new opportunity to make a positive impact on young people's lives? Want to work for an academy that has a supportive, fun and friendly culture? We're looking for a cover supervisor to join our team.

As a Cover Supervisor (Learning Manager) you will supervise students across Key Stages 3 and 4 where a teacher is absent. You will cover lessons prepared by the teacher as well as contributing to the development of learning strategies to help raise achievement. You will research, prepare and coordinate resources to support teaching and learning as well as manage behaviour in the classroom. You will also assist with break and lunch time supervision.

All colleagues, teaching and support, are responsible for a small coaching group of students which they meet with for 1.5 hours over a week. Full training is offered and you will be buddied up with a teaching member of staff. This adds a very rewarding element to the role.

At the top of your game, you'll have great behaviours, strong organisational skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and be able to work constructively as part of a team. How and why you do things matters greatly to us, as does your ability to use your initiative, work independently and demonstrate ambition and integrity.
