A leading international professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Adviser to join its People function. This is an exciting opportunity for an L&D professional to design and deliver impactful development programmes that support both business performance and individual career progression.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a collaborative global L&D team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering learning initiatives across business skills, leadership, and technical capability. You will partner closely with stakeholders to ensure programmes are aligned to commercial priorities and tailored to different career stages.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to both strategic programme design and delivery, as well as involvement in global learning initiatives and early careers development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve learning programmes aligned to business needs.
- Support career development initiatives for both fee-earning and business services populations.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and on-demand learning content.
- Manage and coordinate learning projects, events, and bespoke development initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and recommend development solutions.
- Source and manage external learning providers and content.
- Monitor programme effectiveness and adapt content based on feedback and outcomes.
- Support coaching, mentoring, and early careers development initiatives.
- Assist in the management and optimisation of the learning management system (LMS).
This role will suit someone who brings:
- Experience in Learning & Development within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programmes.
- Strong understanding of career development frameworks and learning pathways.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
An understanding of regulatory requirements relating to professional development is advantageous.
