JOB PURPOSEThe Learning & Apprenticeship Advisor is part of the HR CoE Delivery team within HR Excellence and reports directly to the Manager, HR CoE Delivery.
This role is a key enabler to Burberry's strategic objective to put talent at the centre and supports delivery of initiatives which seek to prioritise the growth of our people and build a culture of learning at Burberry.
This role works very closely with our Talent COE (Centre of Excellence) with day to day ownership of our UK Apprenticeship programme alongside management of our internal digital learning platform which provides mandatory training across the globally organisation as well as hard and soft skills development.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee the co-ordination and day-to-day logistics of our UK Apprenticeship programmes
- Define success measures for apprenticeship programmes, aligned to business outcomes, performance improvement and capability uplift
- Liaise with Apprenticeship providers, identifying and onboarding relevant partners
- Communicate and showcase Apprenticeships to UK colleagues driving awareness and understanding of the offering
- Act as a point of contact for all active apprenticeship 'learners' and their Line Managers, from pre-program application through to post-program support
- Oversee the Go1 Learn supplier relationship and system administration, partnering with the Talent Team to drive learning uptake through playlist design and learning campaigns
- Project manage mandatory training, working with content owners to ensure clear responsibilities, timely updates, and a consistent learner experience
- Support the design of Talent owned mandatory learning, ensuring a modern, consistent, and engaging experience across the organisation
- Support delivery of an excellent corporate onboarding experience by coordinating key learning touchpoints and ensuring new starters understand available learning and growth opportunities
- Administer and optimise the learning experience on the SAP platform, driving engagement with development plans and onboarding pathways
- Produce regular apprenticeship, mandatory training, and other learning completion reports to provide insight into 'learner' progress
- Provide timely and accurate Tier 2 employee support relating to general L&D, UK Apprenticeships, and Digital Learning via the AskHR query management platform
- Implement ongoing improvements to processes, employee support materials, and AskHR to improve customer experience
- Create and maintain documentation related to own responsibilities (e.g. process maps, desktop procedures, etc) as well as employee support materials
- Provide ad hoc support to the Talent COE and the wider HR Excellence Team, where necessary
- Experience in L&D and / or digital learning administration
- Experience of UK Apprenticeships (vendor management, programming, employee support and onboarding learners)
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of excel and enabling technologies including ability to run reports and handle large datasets
- Demonstration of a continuous improvement mindset
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detailAbility to drive initiatives from concept to delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle complex data sets and derive insights
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship-building skills
