The Lean Transformation Leader at the Caledonian Engine Overhaul site in Prestwick will lead the site FLIGHT DECK Team to work collaboratively with the operation to drive lean transformation and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will work in partnership with cross-functional teams, coach employees across all levels, and ensure alignment with our strategic priorities and customer expectations.

Lean Leadership & Operational Excellence
  • Coach, develop, and execute lean transformation plans, including Kaizen events, Value Stream Analysis, Standard Work, and other lean methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the site.
  • Lead the site FLIGHT DECK team to collaborate cross-functionally to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes, and enhance productivity.
  • Engage, train and mentor personnel on FLIGHT DECK principles and tools.
  • Lead transformation initiatives linked to value streams and flow line creation, ensuring these lines serve customers internally and externally. Understand and leverage best practice across the network.
  • Strong commitment to developing and maintaining robust systems/processes that ensure sustainment and long term success.
FLIGHT DECK Deployment
  • Deploy and uphold FLIGHT DECK Fundamentals, including standard work, visual management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operational management, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles, including Kaizen, Kata, Value Stream Analysis, 5S and Standard Work.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to influence, coach and drive change across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Safety and Quality.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma cannot be included certification.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating model.
  • Experience as part of a large site's senior leadership team.
