As our business continues to grow, we are interested in speaking with an experienced Lead Test Engineer to work on a current project in Corsham within our Defence team.

The Opportunity:

The Test Lead will oversee a testing service conducted by multiple Test Engineers, responsible for integration and end-to-end testing of the MoD's IT Service Management (ITSM) function. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site at MoD in Corsham. Initially focusing on manual testing, there will be opportunities to introduce automation to improve testing processes in the future. Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership and delivery of the project's Test Strategy and overall test governance
  • Test planning and assurance for integration testing of new or modified capabilities
  • Test estimation for new workstreams/capabilities to ensure accurate project forecasting
  • Ensuring adherence to industry best practices
  • Providing client-side assurance for third-party supplier testing
  • Collaborating with Business and Process Owners to develop and implement comprehensive test cases
  • Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers
  • Preparing test reports on service outcomes (monthly)

The Fit:

The ideal candidate will have previous test management experience, including functional, integration, end-to-end, and API testing. Experience working with the MOD is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable leading a team and maintaining best testing practices.

We pride ourselves on taking care of our talent by providing a dynamic, inclusive, and team-oriented environment where everyone can thrive. Our competitive benefits package reflects this commitment.
