Lead System Engineer

Salary: $170,000 - 210,00 Annual Base + Flexible Benefits + Equity

You'll lead a skilled team of firmware and hardware engineers, architecting the next generation ofBLE- and sub-GHz-enabled sensing platformsfrom concept through deployment. One week you might be optimising low-energy wireless stack integration for maximum battery life, the next you're in the lab validating RF range, sensor accuracy, and communication reliability under challenging real-world conditions.

You will oversee the end-to-end development of the embedded sensing stack, from sensor interfaces and microcontroller firmware to RF design, wireless data transmission, and system testing while driving innovation and mentoring a growing technical team.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience inembedded hardware/firmware for wireless sensors, with proven delivery of low-power solutions.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams in product development.
• Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures and embedded C/C++.
• Understanding of hardware design principles (schematics, PCB layout, power management, energy optimisation).
• Expertise inRF design, testing, and wireless sensing protocols(BLE, sub-GHz RF, mesh networks, LoRa, etc.).
• Experience with prototype development, sensor integration, hardware bring-up, debugging, and optimisation for long-term, battery-powered operation.
