A specialist school in the Nottinghamshire area is seeking an experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team, delivering high quality, personalised support to children and young people with complex communication needs.
The school is known for its tailored educational and therapeutic programmes and for creating a nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering best practice communication support across the school community.
In this role, you will lead on assessment, intervention planning, and the delivery of speech, language, and communication therapy.
You will also support staff training, co ordinate therapy pathways, and contribute to multidisciplinary planning that enhances pupils' participation and progress.
This is a permanent, full time position.
Part time hours may also be considered.
Person specification- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- UK based, clinical experience working within speech and language therapies
- Experience working with children and young people with complex communication needs, including ASD and associated learning challenges
- Experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or coordinating therapy provision within an educational, health, or specialist setting
- Eligibility to work in the UK at the time of application (please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
