Lead Software Engineer - Government

Our client, a Government department, is seeking three experienced Lead Software Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidates will have prior experience working with the Government Digital Service (GDS). This exciting opportunity involves working on a 2-year programme remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to develop Java applications
• Utilize JavaScript and Node.JS for front-end development
• Implement solutions using Spring Boot framework
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong Java development skills
• Proficiency in JavaScript; Node.JS
