Lead Software Developer with Dot Net SQL Server and Azure

Overview

C# .NET Lead Software Developer with SQL and Azure. Our client is an international company seeking a Lead Software Developer with .NET technology, SQL Server, Azure, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development using .NET Core and related technologies (ASP.NET Core, C#, WPF, Web API, WCF).
• Design, develop, and maintain applications with SQL Server (T-SQL) and PowerShell integration.
• Implement CI/CD and release management using Azure Pipelines; apply Infrastructure as Code with ARM templates.
• Work on microservice and micro-database projects; contribute to cloud transition for on-premises applications.
• Develop and maintain containerized solutions (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Collaborate with teams on Azure cloud services and related tooling.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of solid software engineering experience using .NET Core.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, WPF, Web API, WCF, SQL Server (T-SQL), PowerShell, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Azure Service Bus and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with CI/CD and release management using Azure Pipelines; Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates.
• Experience with microservice/micro-database architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and migrating on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Good knowledge of SSRS (Reporting Services).
• Good knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).

Engagement details

Duration: 6 to 12 months.

Location: Victoria, London, with remote work for the next few weeks.
