We're looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our client, who is a global IT Powerhouse and trusted UK government partner, recognized for excellence in digital transformation. You'll lead development teams while hands-on coding, ensuring systems meet both technical and business goals.

What We're Looking For:

• You must be based in the UK - Only ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain)/British or EU passport
• Must already hold an active SC clearance (non-negotiable)
• 10+ years of professional software development experience (mandatory).
• Some leadership experience is required

Technical Expertise:

• Java, JavaScript, Node.js (expert-level proficiency).
• AWS or Azure (production experience, not just coursework/labs).
• SQL/NoSQL databases (eg, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) deep architectural understanding.

What You'll Do:

• Transform client requirements into clean, production-ready code
• Own the full development life cycle from design to deployment
• Enforce best practices in security, testing and system performance
• Solve complex technical challenges with innovative approaches
• Lead technical decisions while mentoring team members
