- RF and EMC Testing: Perform RF/EMC compliance tests, analyze results, and generate reports.
- Test Development: Create test plans, quotes, and procedures based on international RF/EMC standards.
- Equipment Management: Calibrate and maintain RF/EMC testing equipment.
- Team Supervision: Oversee daily testing operations, guide engineers, and support team development.
- Customer Interaction: Address inquiries and ensure clear communication of decisions.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement laboratory system enhancements.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to ISO17025 and relevant regulations.
- Strong engineering knowledge (mechanics, physics, electronics at A-level/HNC or higher).
- Practical experience in RF/EMC compliance testing and equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
- Familiarity with RF testing methods and standards (e.g., FCC Pt 15/90, EN300328).
- Understanding of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in a UKAS-accredited lab and proficiency in Python (or similar) is a plus.
