Lead Research Scientist, Frontier AI Safety & Governance

Google DeepMind is hiring a research scientist to lead governance research and risk modeling for the Frontier Safety Framework (FSF). FSF addresses severe risks from frontier AI models with risk assessment, governance innovation, and model safety reporting.

You will lead a team of researchers, perform qualitative and quantitative modeling, and collaborate with policy/governance teams to strengthen the frontier AI governance ecosystem and contribute to model safety reports.
