Lead QA Engineer - Commodities / Trading Client - £120k + Extensive Benefits, London

My Commodities Trading Client are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join the growing team.

This role is 3 days a week in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and recommend requirements for STLC.
• Design, execute, and report on QA process.
• Drive sprint testing, creation of test cases, execution, and defect tracking.
• Develop and maintain current Regression Pack.
• Implement test automation using tools e.g ReadyAPI, SpecFlow, Playwright. C#.
• Design and Build nonfunctional test suite.
• Maintain heat maps
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and proper documentation.
• Combine with the team to ensure an accurate test approach reflected in Jira stories.
• Enhance Automation and Manual testing processes utilising the latest tools / techniques.
• Contribute with leadership on test policies and procedures.
• Gather test result data to release readiness reports.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Automation Quality Assurance (UI, DB and API) in a Financial Services environment (Ideally Trading)
• Depth of knowledge in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#) to develop effective automation scripts.
• Strong experience in maintaining automated regression packs and contributing to sprint testing.
