In your new role, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge power GaN technology within a state-of-the-art 300mm wafer production environment. We're looking for an experienced technical lead-ideally with strong project management skills-who can drive collaboration and guide cross-functional teams with clarity and confidence in decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical leadership and project management in a highly innovative and strategically important area at Infineon.

In your new job you will:
  • Technically lead the development of the new GaN platform technology
  • Coordinate project activities from process definition to system
  • Develop new technology and device concepts for pGaN based HEMT
  • Develop FEOL and BEOL integration schemes in 300mm GaN line
  • Lead design activities of technology test chip, and support lead product development
  • Work in an international and multi-site team of passionate and experienced development engineers
  • Collaborate closely with application engineering and TCAD concept team, to derive functional requirements and define technology specifications
  • Collaborate closely with Wafer fab unit process development and process integration engineers to develop new unit processes and process blocks
  • Act as interface to Product Line and R&D management to provide technical advice for management decisions


You're a collaborative, innovation-driven professional who values clear communication, structured problem-solving, and delivering impactful solutions.

You are a great fit for this role if you have:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics or comparable
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, focus technology development
  • Experience as a project leader and technical lead in previous technology development projects
  • Strong knowledge of power semiconductor process technology and device physics
  • Knowledge in wide bandgap semiconductor technologies is a plus
  • Certification in project management is a plus
  • Knowledge of low/medium voltage power technologies and DC/DC power stages
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multi-cultural, multi-site and cross functional teams
  • Full English proficiency. German language skills are a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
