Lead Paralegal - Major Injury & Casualty

Our Casualty team at DWF are currently hiring for a Paralegal.
The team manage a varied caseload, mainly dealing with bodily injury claims, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) and Employers Liability (EL) / Public Liability (PL) matters. These which range in value from small claim track to high-end fast track.
As a Paralegal you will play a key role in supporting our clients, whilst working with a team of legal professionals to deliver a high quality, professional service on behalf of DWF. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on legal experience where you will be empowered to work autonomously and, in due course, manage your own caseload of high-profile cases.
The role is hybrid and we would expect the successful individual to attend our London office 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- To action cases in line with the department's and client's service standards and protocols
- To act as a trusted member within the team, taking responsibility and ensuring the case management system is kept up to date with court orders, reviewing confidential records, and liaising with clients
- Dealing with technical aspects of the cases, under the supervision of more senior team members
- Progress cases to a satisfactory and speedy conclusion in accordance with the client requirements
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- A law degree, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification
- Experience working within Casualty and/or knowledge of personal injury claims processes and procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with case management systems.
- A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
