Job Title: Lead Network Consultant About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Lead Network Consultant to design, deliver, and oversee complex network solutions for our clients. You'll act as a technical authority, guiding architecture decisions, leading engagements end-to-end, and mentoring consultants while working closely with stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable network environments.
This is a senior, client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping strategy, and setting technical direction.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of enterprise network solutions including wireless technologies
Act as technical lead on client engagements, from discovery through delivery and handover
Provide expert-level consultancy on network architecture, security, and performance
Review and approve low-level and high-level designs
Troubleshoot complex network issues and lead root-cause analysis
Mentor and support junior and mid-level consultants
Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams on solution design and proposals
Ensure solutions align with best practices, security standards, and business requirements
Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a senior or lead network engineering/consulting role
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and network security
Experience with technologies such as:
Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto (or similar), SD-WAN solutions, Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience producing and reviewing technical documentation and designs
Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on
Essential Qualifications- Previously verifiable experience of wireless surveying tools such as Ekahau.
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of wireless network surveys and analysis.
CCNP / CCIE / JNCIP / equivalent certifications
Cloud networking or security certifications
Experience working in a consultancy or MSP environment
