As a Lead Java Developer at Emergn, you'll help us shape Emergn's exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

We want you to:- Take responsibility over designing, coding, testing and deploying Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture and delivery timelines.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Solid proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, SpringBoot, and designing RESTful APIs.
- Experience and expertise in AWS, No-SQL/Relational Databases, creating and testing application flow, including application logic, databases, integrations, and APIs.
- Experience and expertise in advanced topics like asynchronous processing, background threads, concurrency handling, analyzing bottlenecks & optimizing back-end services for performance, and developing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

- This is an onsite position based in Dublin, Ireland.
