Lead Technician - Overview

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide hands on technical support, including fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of industrial machinery
• Act as a technical escalation point for field based technicians and subcontractors
• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of service projects to meet deadlines
• Monitor job progress, identify risks, and take proactive action to resolve issues
• Maintain strong communication with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of technicians, sharing best practices
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and service level agreements
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reporting, and job tracking records

Education & Skills Required

• Strong hands on technical experience within industrial or service environments
• Solid understanding of machinery, diagnostics, and maintenance processes
