OverviewWe're looking for a SecDevOps Specialist to join our growing team and help embed security and compliance into every stage of our Azure cloud delivery lifecycle.
In this role, you'll work at the intersection of IT, security, and data protection-collaborating with teams across IT to ensure our cloud platforms, DevOps pipelines and applications are secure, compliant, and future-ready. You'll play a key role in shaping how we build, test, and deploy software securely in Azure.
You Will- Lead cloud security and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to UK GDPR, EU AI Act, and managing DPIAs and data privacy documentation.
- Integrate security into Azure DevOps pipelines using tools like SonarCloud and Snyk, implementing SAST, SCA, and secure pipeline templates.
- Coordinate vulnerability management activities including threat modelling, pen testing, remediation, and risk tracking with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee access control governance, enforcing least-privilege principles and conducting regular cloud access reviews.
- Collaborate across teams to align with security standards, manage exceptions, and support secure software and infrastructure practices.
- Proven experience in Security, DevOps, or Cloud compliance, particularly in Azure environments.
- Solid understanding of software development practices, ideally with a developer background.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., UK GDPR) and security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, IaC tools (e.g., Terraform), and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient with tools like SonarCloud, Snyk, and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI); strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
