Job Title: Lead Full Stack Tech Lead (SC Cleared)
Location: Remote, UK Based
Duration: 12-month contract (With scope to extend)
Clearance: Active Security Clearance is required

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Tech Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership across agile delivery teams.

You will set engineering standards, ensure architectural alignment, and enable efficient, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own engineering standards including code quality, testing, estimates, and PR reviews
• Shape and decompose work into clear, testable, delivery-ready stories
• Embed agreed architectural patterns across services
• Document technical decisions and collaborate with architects on design approvals
• Mentor engineers and model strong engineering behaviours
• Identify delivery waste and escalate blockers early
• Ensure cross-team consistency and alignment
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Essential Skills and Experience

• Senior experience in one core stack:
• Java with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
• Or JavaScript or TypeScript with React
• Strong experience with microservice architectures
• Proven Java and Spring best practices
• Frontend experience with React and Micro Front Ends
• AWS experience including SNS, SQS, S3, Aurora or PostgreSQL, OpenSearch
• Strong communication and leadership skills within agile teams
