Certain Advantage is hiring for a Lead FEM Engineer based in the Filton area. This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We're working with a manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division. Does this sound like your next career move? The Role

This role is for a Lead FEM Engineer-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results orientated and driven to succeed. You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Support the development of GFEM and DFEM projects across all programmes
• Analyse and validate FE and stress data
• Deliver digital solutions to optimise wing structure enablement processes

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

• Educated to degree level in Aerospace Engineering
• Knowledge and experience with FEM tools, i.e. Hyperworks, Hypermesh and MSC Nastran
• Experience with the idealisation of wing component structure with Finite Element Methodology
• ISAMI competent user is an advantage
• FEM Signature delegation is an added advantage
• Knowledge and experience with UNIX based platforms is an advantage
