We are looking for an Electrical Lead to support an Indonesian-based LNG Project in Jakarta. The Lead will be responsible for interfacing with the Electrical Client counterpart, Electrical Lead Engineer in the UK, coordinating with the Jakarta-based project partners on Electrical matters, and managing Jakarta-based Electrical Project work.

The Lead will, under broad direction, supervise and lead a group of engineers. Provide technical direction over a group and be responsible for coaching and developing lower-level professionals. The Lead will plan, budget, organize, and control an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of Electrical scope area as part of a project team, or provide specialist expertise in one or more key project areas.
• Supervise and lead the Electrical team: provide technical direction, employee performance appraisals, and coaching and developing lower-level professionals.
• Lead the design of larger and more complex assignments.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Lead the project Electrical team with appropriate experience.

Skills and Experience

• Skills gained through undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including final year design projects and work placements.
• Expertise in one or more areas of Electrical scope.
• Ability to check and confirm completeness of deliverables, including philosophies, specifications, and power system study reports.
• Previous experience in LNG projects and working with KBR is preferred.

Educational Experience

• BEng or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Masters degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Chartered Engineer status, e.g., membership of an accredited Institution such as IET.
