Following continued growth across our Digital and Technology provision, we are excited to recruit a Lead Digital Learning and Development Coach to drive excellence across our digital apprenticeship programmes.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity to shape curriculum innovation, embed digital first delivery models, and ensure our provision reflects the evolving needs of employers in a rapidly changing digital economy.
About the RoleAs our Lead Digital Learning & Development Coach, you will play a pivotal role in leading high quality digital learning experiences across our apprenticeship standards. You will split your time between leading curriculum innovation at our training centre(s) and supporting learners in the workplace, ensuring digital capability is embedded in real world contexts:
- Lead and mentor a caseload of digital apprentices, supporting progression across modern digital standards including infrastructure, cyber, software, data and emerging technologies.
- Drive curriculum innovation, embedding AI tools, automation, cloud platforms and digital collaboration technologies into delivery.
- Champion digital-first pedagogy, leveraging blended learning, LMS platforms, interactive tools and immersive learning approaches.
- Monitor quality and continuous improvement in line with Ofsted, DfE and awarding body requirements.
- Work closely with the Training Manager to lead audits, standardisation, moderation and quality assurance activities.
- Oversee assignment tracking, progress reviews and coach allocation, ensuring accurate data-driven decision making.
- Act as a digital ambassador, horizon scanning emerging trends to ensure curriculum remains industry relevant and future focused.
You are more than an IT trainer - you are a digital leader who understands how technology is transforming industries. You are confident in integrating AI, cloud-based systems, data insights and automation into learning design.
You bring both technical depth and people leadership capability, and you are motivated by developing high-performing teams and digitally confident learners.
Essential Skills & Experience- Proven experience delivering or assessing digital or technology programmes (infrastructure, cyber security, software, data, cloud or related disciplines).
- Experience integrating digital tools (e.g., LMS platforms, AI tools, collaboration technologies) into learning delivery.
- Strong understanding of current digital industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience working within government-funded, compliance-driven apprenticeship environments.
- Excellent communication, organisational and digital record keeping skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
