Job Description

Waracle is seeking a Lead Developer to join our digital technology consultancy. This role involves high-level technical leadership, system design, architectural oversight, and strategic guidance for complex software systems.

The position is hybrid, requiring presence in any of our UK offices 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, batch processing, and C#, with a passion for technical direction, mentoring, and best practices across projects.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision and architecture for scalable systems, setting roadmaps and standards.
• Lead digital programs, managing multiple teams and initiatives.
• Champion Agile methodologies and development standards.
• Consult with clients to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Drive innovation and adopt new technologies in data, batch processing, and C#.
• Mentor technical teams and foster knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer, Architect, or Engineer in complex enterprise software.
• Deep proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks.
• Expertise in SQL, stored procedures, and database design.
• Experience with batch processing systems and large-scale data operations.
• Strong architectural and technical vision skills.
• Excellent project management and Agile experience.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
