Lead Design Engineer

What You Will Do:

Lead and manage the design process for complex components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring they align with manufacturing capabilities and company standards.

Act as the subject matter expert for pressure vessel design, including material selection, stress analysis, and compliance with industry codes such as ASME and PED.

Produce high-quality sheet metal and fabrication drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

Collaborate closely with production teams and engineering staff to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective.

Develop and refine process flows and design procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy across projects.

Provide engineering direction, lead design reviews, and mentor junior designers and drafters.

What You Will Bring:

A strong background in engineering with proven experience in a lead or senior design role.

Extensive hands on expertise in pressure vessel design and applicable industry standards.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

Demonstrated experience in sheet metal design, fabrication methods, and production processes.

Exceptional organisational, communication, and project management skills.
