Lead Contracts Manager - Fire & Security

We're looking for an experienced, passionate Lead Contracts Manager to manage the Contracts Fire and Security team (approx. 4 direct reports), focusing on the delivery of outsourced fire & security maintenance works as part of our Technical Services Team. The role can be based from any of our offices across the South and South West.

The role

Utilising your contract management expertise and experience, you'll manage the team of Contracts Managers - Fire and Security, ensuring ensure all health and safety obligations are met, regular meetings are held, site inspections including auditing of the quality works are completed.

You'll also be responsible for ensuring all financial elements are managed and controlled within agreed budgets.

What we're looking for:

• Proven track record of leading a contracts management team focusing on fire & security works
• Previous experience in Fire Door Inspections, fire risk assessor or building surveyor experience
• Excellent understanding of life safety systems including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, dry risers and fire dampers
• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks

• Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation with focus on compliance within all activities undertaken sub contractors
• Relevant qualifications in fire and security with evidence of maintaining an up-to-date knowledge
