Our client invites you to join as the Lead Clinical Director, where you will have the unique opportunity to guide clinical standards across a thriving, multi site practice. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a significant impact, leading a large exceptional team of vets and nurses while shaping the strategic direction of a well established, forward thinking veterinary practice.
The role offers the autonomy, scale, and support necessary for you to truly make your mark. The practice is home to a highly experienced team, including certificate holders, ensuring you are surrounded by top tier professionals, with diverse clinical interests, including orthopaedics, ECC, cardiology, exotics, internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and dentistry. The clinical facilities are state of the art, include modern theatres, laparoscopic kits, digital x ray, dental x ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, orthopaedic surgery, isolation wards, well equipped consult rooms, an onsite laboratory, and a CT scanner. All branches are ISFM Cat Friendly Clinics with dedicated feline appointment blocks.
LocationLocated on the Somerset/Wiltshire border, the practice offers the perfect blend of rural calm and cultural vibrancy. You'll be close to the Cotswolds, Bristol, Bath and Salisbury, and have direct train links to London, Bath and Bristol, with the south coast just an hour away.
ResponsibilitiesYou will bring vision, drive, and compassion to the role, helping shape the future of the practice. You should have extensive clinical experience as an MRCVS with a minimum of 3+ years leading a practice or in a multi site practice, experience in managing budgets, delivering financial performance, and KPIs, and excellent communication skills. Leadership and line management experience are essential, along with the ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and resilience.
Qualifications• MRCVS (or equivalent) with at least 3+ years of clinical practice
