This role combines hands-on coding with architectural leadership and mentoring responsibilities. You will collaborate with several agile teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions for one our most strategic products. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Define and drive the technical vision for .NET-based applications hosted on Azure. Architecture & Design: Design scalable, cloud-native architectures leveraging Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, etc.). Hands-On Development: Write clean, maintainable C# code using .NET 8, Entity Framework Core, and modern design patterns. Database Expertise: Optimize data access strategies using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server for performance and scalability. Cloud Integration: Implement secure, resilient solutions using Azure PaaS components, storage, and networking. DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate on automated build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Mentorship: Guide and mentor senior engineers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and architecture. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Required Qualifications Experience: 10+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. Technical Skills: + Expert in C#, .NET 8, and Entity Framework Core. + Strong experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault). + Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. + Database: Proficiency in SQL Server and performance tuning with EF Core. + DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Experience working in and with agile teams. Soft Skills: Excellent communication abilities and a proven ability to work independently and within a global, virtual team. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Azure security best practices and compliance standards. Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS patterns.
