# Lead Activities Co ordinatorGrove Park, 8 Grove Ct, Enderby, Leicester LE19 1SAMarch 9, 2026 Job Description Lead Activities Co ordinator - Join Midlands Care as our Lead Activities Co ordinator and play a key role in enriching the lives of residents through creativity, leadership, and meaningful engagement. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and clear guidance to our team of Activities Co ordinators across all Midlands Care services, ensuring a consistent, high quality approach to resident wellbeing and engagement. Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Group Activities Calendar that promotes creativity, innovation, and regulatory compliance across all homes. Support the management and professional development of Activities Co ordinators by conducting regular meetings, supervisions, and ongoing coaching. Lead and coordinate organisation wide resident events, seasonal celebrations, and themed programmes that enhance community spirit and enrich daily life. Ensure all activity programmes are inclusive, diverse, person centred, aligned to individual care plans, and appropriately evidenced. Build and strengthen community partnerships to support safe, meaningful, and enriching external engagement, outings, and collaborative opportunities. Ensure robust risk assessments, safeguarding practices, health & safety standards, and compliance requirements are consistently met across all activity provision. Attend leadership meetings as required and contribute to governance oversight through reporting, planning, budget awareness, and continuous improvement initiatives that support resident wellbeing and positive inspection outcomes. Qualifications and Skills: Experience in activity coordination, wellbeing roles, or similar environments is highly desirable, particularly within a care setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team across multiple services. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. A commitment to delivering inclusive, person centred activity programmes that promote independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing. Confidence in adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and health & safety. Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to plan and deliver engaging events and initiatives. Enhanced DBS Check will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
