Through managing the PPL Repertoire Database, they provide services and analysis on data submitted by PPL Members and Licensees to ensure that requirements set out in the PPL Data Policy are met. Their work ensures that we can maximise revenue generation and pay-through. The Repertoire team also works to resolve key data gaps at source wherever possible, as well as promoting industry standards and working on international projects to improve music data quality. What you'll be doing: You will provide a proactive and first class account management service to PPL's highest value rightsholder members. Your service provision will be tailored to ensure retention and growth of international collection mandates and to maximise UK royalty payments. As well as providing excellent customer service, you will have a key focus on working with your accounts to improve their repertoire data quality and to adhere to music industry data standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive understanding of your record company's operational ways of working, including their business model, genre specialisms and international mandate requirements To maintain knowledge around your accounts' key repertoire catalogue, including proactively keeping on top of new releases, music industry news, catalogue acquisitions and international trends Develop an annual plan for each of your accounts to enable proactive account management on a day to day basis Meeting expected KPI targets regarding repertoire data quality improvement To efficiently manage operational tasks to ensure key deadlines are met for international collections. This includes ensuring new repertoire is registered, mandate information is up to date, key repertoire data points are complete to meet other CMOs requirements, and documentation regarding resolution of rights disputes is collected and stored in line with documented processes and procedures Analysis and checking of international royalty payments to ensure these are in line with expectations and can be proactively explained to the member To proactively liaise with the International Department to seek opportunities for royalty growth To efficiently manage operational tasks to ensure key deadlines are met for UK revenue distribution. This includes ensuring repertoire registrations are up to date, the use of distribution forecasts on a monthly basis to proactively explain broadcast airplay trends, resolution of UK rights disputes and administrative tasks concerning tax and payment processes are complete To self-serve reporting around repertoire and rights data for your accounts and to build a comprehensive understanding of end to end repertoire data management within PPL To prepare and run regular UK and International distribution results meetings with your accounts in order to present analysis of UK and International revenue. To ensure close working relationships are built with members of the Legal & Business Affairs, International and Distribution departments To provide updates on your accounts in a range of internal team meetings to colleagues at differing levels of seniority To handle day to day queries in a professional and helpful manner, in line with set customer service and quality standards What you'll need: Demonstratable work experience in an account management or sales/customer services focused environment and received training on such Experience of working as part of a team Ideally has a good understanding of neighbouring rights within the recorded music industry - and a love for music!
