Our client, a reputable and expanding fleet department, is actively recruiting for a Van / LCV Technician to join their newly established Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU) in Wednesbury. • Competitive basic salary ranging from £37,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience)

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV)
• Perform minor and major mechanical repairs as necessary
• Conduct vehicle health checks and road tests
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, and engine repair work
• Assist with wiring, camera systems, and maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
• Clearly communicate repair findings to relevant teams

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (minimum)
• Proven experience in car service and repair, preferably working with commercial vehicles
• Experience with wiring, camera systems, and diagnostics
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong technical knowledge across vehicle systems
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, team-oriented approach
