Lay Member (FRC Tribunal Panel)The FRC is seeking new lay members to join the Tribunal Panel.
The Tribunal Panel plays a key part in the disciplinary schemes and procedures for auditors, accountants and actuaries, helping to maintain confidence in these key professions and integrity in businesses in the UK. The Tribunal Panel consists of legal chairs, lay members, and members with auditing, accountancy and actuarial experience.
The lay members of the Tribunal Panel bring an important external perspective to deliberations, a public interest viewpoint and can bring professional skills and experience from other careers and industries to bear in helping the Tribunal reach its determinations.
Applications should be submitted online by 31 August 2026.
All candidates are asked to complete the online application form. The form asks candidates to explain how they meet each of the core competencies, providing relevant examples. Candidates are also asked to email a recent CV (which should be no more than two pages) to which will be matched with their submitted application form. Please do not submit a covering letter and instead include all relevant information in your application form.
