Description

Are you an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer ready to take the next step in your career? Thompsons Solicitors - the UK's leading social justice law firm - is seeking a dedicated and driven lawyer to join our specialist Clinical Negligence team.

This is a senior opportunity to use your expertise where it truly matters: securing justice for injured and vulnerable clients who rely on us to fight their corner.

The role

In this pivotal role, you will manage a high value, multi track caseload from initial client interview through to successful resolution. You will lead complex clinical negligence claims with skill, empathy and sound strategic judgement, ensuring the highest standards of litigation and client care throughout.

Alongside your own caseload, this role requires strong and proven supervision experience. You will play an active part in supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers, providing technical guidance, oversight and support to ensure cases progress effectively and to a consistently high standard.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy while contributing to a collaborative, high performing team, where knowledge sharing and mutual support are central to success.

Our flexible working policy means the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, subject to regular engagement with the Manchester based team.

  • Proven experience managing complex clinical negligence claims
  • Demonstrable supervisory experience, with the ability to support, guide and develop colleagues
  • Confidence in identifying and driving key medico legal issues
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to exceptional client care

Most importantly, you will share our commitment to social justice, high professional standards and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients every day.
