Job Description
Overview

Compilation of interim management and senior leadership postings across NHS organisations. Multiple roles include varying hourly/daily rates, start dates (ASAP or February 2024), durations (3 months to 12 months), and locations (North West, London, East of England, Midlands, etc.).

Responsibilities and duties (illustrative excerpts from postings)
  • Provide evidenced based expert clinical practice, advice, and leadership for IPC to clinical teams and managers across the Trust. Work with the Deputy Director of Nursing, Quality and Governance to deliver strategic aims for IPC and maintain compliance with the organisation's requirements.
  • Develop policy and procedure in assigned areas, including briefings, commissioning, business, or resources. Propose, draft, implement, and interpret changes to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements. Suggest changes and make recommendations for the delivery of various projects.
  • Be a visible and credible leader, modelling and reinforcing Trust values and behaviours, and act as an ambassador for Nursing, Midwifery and AHPs. Take a lead role in providing senior clinical leadership.
  • Provide senior leadership and experience in identifying improvement and transformation opportunities, leading and supporting delivery of initiatives, projects and programmes across clinical and non-clinical functions. Support transformation planning and drive improvement.
  • Lead large-scale transformation programmes, collaborate with system partners, and deliver redesign and improvement projects across the organisation.
  • Support the Senior Management Team in operational delivery, financial performance, governance, change and business development; work with Clinical Directors and Divisional Nurses; deliver challenging targets.
  • Lead on performance management and governance activities, ensuring delivery of service objectives and performance targets; manage day-to-day operational delivery in line with strategic aims.
  • Provide interim management support with a focus on service improvement, Endoscopy, Booking and Scheduling, elective recovery, RTT, PTL, and related pathways as applicable to the posting.
  • Lead and participate in strategy development, policy formation, risk management, and quality assurance activities across divisions.
