Laser Setter/ Operator

We are currently looking for an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to join our production team in Redditch.

With position becoming permanent following a successful trial period.

This role is ideal for someone with previous laser cutting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Experience on an Amada cutting machine is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate an Amada CO F1 laser cutting machine.
• Work with 3000mm x 1500mm sheet material.
• Operate and monitor the automated sheet loading system.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Check parts for quality and accuracy against engineering drawings.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with automated sheet loading systems.
• Knowledge of laser programming or nesting software.

Shift

Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1530; Friday 0700 - 1330.

Pay

£14.50 per hour.
