Laboratory Test Technician
  • Varied technical position working within a specialist R&D engineering laboratory.

  • Days based position that will see you cover a range of calibration and test based duties within a laboratory.

Are you an experienced Test Technician or Engineer from an aerospace, automotive, or general engineering background? We currently have an opportunity where you will develop specialist skills working on a range of diverse niche projects. This is a hands on role working within a lab / clean room environment. Scope to develop further and work in a company that really value their staff. The role will see you work with both mechanical and electronic components and instruments.

Salary & Package:
  • C£34,000 to £36,000 per annum depending on experience.

  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays with scope to purchase additional days.

  • 8% employer pension.

This Laboratory Test Technician job will suit:
  • An experienced Technician or Engineer who has worked within a hands-on assembly / test function.

  • Specific experience working on mechanical and electronic instruments / components would be ideal.

  • Prior Laboratory / R&D experience would be an advantage

  • Hands on in nature, good problem solver, comfortable communicating results to various points of contact.

  • Specific knowledge around calibration, metrology, vacuum controlled environments or similar are all very relevant for this role.
