About the Role:Based within the Pharmaceutical Research Group, your primary responsibility will be to provide laboratory technical support to researchers and postgraduate students engaged in pharmaceutical and formulation research. You will ensure that laboratory facilities, equipment and materials are prepared, maintained and operated efficiently to support ongoing research activities, while upholding high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
You will occasionally contribute to supporting practical teaching sessions where required, assisting in the preparation of materials and ensuring smooth delivery of laboratory-based learning.
With Two A Levels OR Vocational qualifications at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and aminimum of a degree in a relevant scientific discipline, you will have demonstrable experience working in a research or commercial laboratory environment. Sound knowledge of standard laboratory equipment, analytical techniques and good laboratory practice is essential. Experience in supporting research projects and maintaining laboratory documentation is desirable. You will also contribute to maintaining health and safety standards within the laboratory and should be comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and adapting to varying daily requirements
