Laboratory Technician - National Technical Centre - Southam

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician at our National Technical Centre in Southam, Warwickshire.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, Laboratories, your main duties will include:

  • Ensuring the laboratory environment is maintained in accordance with company standards and that
    all Health & Safety practices are adhered to.
  • Undertake quality control and end performance testing of Asphalt, Readymix, Mortars, Screed,
    Aggregates and products in accordance with Company procedures and European standards.
  • Ensuring test results are recorded and updated in accordance with British & European standards
    and UKAS accreditation
  • Assist in development of products.
  • Carry out site testing as required for technical support of UK Materials.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence essential.
  • Previous experience in Asphalt as Laboratory Technician desirable
  • Use of Microsoft office applications, in particular excel required.
